Phone App Records and Links All the Critical Details for your IRIS Films
- Site and Plot Names: You specify the project details in the field for the IRIS film deployment.
- Deployment Date and Time: One click each inserts the current date and time from your phone.
- User: Documents the name or initials of the operator or group.
- Location: GPS coordinates are imported with one touch.
- Film ID (Barcode Scan): Every AIO IRIS film has a unique ID number and barcode easily scanned by your phone, even when the films are loaded into delivery tubes. Five films can be scanned for each deployment group.
- Site Photo: Add a photo of the site or plot to the data record.
- Field Notes: Easily add notes about field conditions, weather or anything else.
- Retrieval Date and Time: When you retrieve the films, the retrieval dates and times are easily added (you can also rescan the film barcodes for confirmation and added data assurance.)
- Additional Photo and Notes: Add another site photo at the time of retrieval or include additional field notes.
- Upload for Web Access: You can upload data to the cloud while in the field, or wait until you have a wifi connection. (Data and photos can be uploaded separately.) You then have full access to your data set anywhere you have a web connection.
